Once you have completed your training and earned your certification, we will connect you with a licensed therapist who will work one-on-one with you to diagnose your physical, mental, and emotional support needs. After assessing your need for service support from your animal, you will receive a personal therapy plan along with two personalized letters, one for housing and one for travel requirements. Meet your Master Trainer - Toriano Sanzone
Toriano Sanzone, head of our trainer’s team, is an internationally recognized Master Dog Trainer with over two decades of experience.
Born into a family of dog trainers, Toriano's passion began early. With a strong focus on positive reinforcement, Toriano has trained dogs for therapy, hunting, and security, as well as helping to rehabilitate countless 'problem' dogs so they can live happy lives within a loving human family.
Toriano's impressive professional experience includes working as a dog trainer in many settings.
In 2002, he founded the Sanzone School of Dog Training / Wolfkeeper University, which led him to write the highly-praised book "Dog Training w/ Love."
In 2013, he trained directly under Cesar Milan at the world-renowned Dog Psychology Center in Santa Clarita, CA.
Toriano's international experience includes conducting private lessons and group classes, around the globe, in cities including Berlin, Mallorca, and Zurich. He is also a seasoned broadcaster and public speaker, having appeared on over 200 "The Wolfkeeper Show" podcasts.
Toriano is now heading up the Free My Paws trainer's team, to passing on his deep understanding of canine behavior and creating innovative training videos for PSA owners.

DEPARTMENT OF TRAVEL (DOT) FORM COMPLIANCE
Before flying with your support animal, the Department of Travel (DOT) requires you to show that your support animal is trained. This means it must demonstrate, to a certified dog trainer, that it can pass a Canine Good Citizen Test. The required behavior and commands to pass such a test include:

Sitting politely for petting
