Is Wag! right for my dog?
The Wag! matchmaking process is designed to find your purr-fect match. On Wag! you can find and book a dog boarder with experience caring for puppies, older dogs, disabled dog, dogs that require medication, dogs with separation anxiety, and dogs who needs lot of playtime. Being upfront about any special requirements is the best way to find the perfect match for your dog. Helpful tip: Make sure to inform your Boarder of all the information they'll need to know to best take care of your pet!
How much does a Wag! boarding service cost?
On average, the cost of a boarding in a Pet Caregiver’s home for one dog is $48 - $69*. The cost is based on the price set by the Pet Caregiver and varies by region and any additional fees that may apply. The estimated rate will be displayed at the bottom of the screen during booking, with a final price provided when you match with a Pet Caregiver.

How does Wag! evaluate boarders?
Before any dog boarder begins working for Wag!, he or she must first undergo a thorough vetting process which includes dog handling, safety tests, phone screening, and background checks. Many of the dog boarders have worked as veterinary technicians or shelter volunteers. The majority have been lifelong dog owners and caretakers. 95% of Wag! boardings result in a perfect, 5-star review.
Can I ask my Pet Caregiver to transport my dog to/from the boarding service?
Yes, if you would like your dog to be picked up and dropped off, let your Pet Caregiver know! Transportation requests are an additional $15 charge.
How do I pay for the service?
Wag! accepts all major credit cards, including VISA, MasterCard and American Express. Never pay by cash or check as this makes your booking ineligible for premium insurance and support.
When will I be charged for service?
Your card is charged after the service is complete. Wag! will hold onto the funds and release payment to your Boarder or Sitter within 48 hours of the service being complete.
